The vehicle stock as of 1 January 2012

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) has published its yearly statistics. On 1 January 2012, there were 51.7 million vehicles and 6.2 million  vehicle trailers registered.

Thus, the German vehicle stock increased by 1.5 % to 42.9 million vehicles.
